I know baby weight can be a bit of a touchy subject but it’s one on my mind a lot at the moment. Cecilia was two months old last Saturday – *cry face emoji* where is the time going?! I’m gutted that my little girl is growing up so fast. I’m also gutted that I can’t keep wearing my maternity clothes and using that “I’ve just had a baby” excuse for my jelly belly for very much longer.
I was in pretty good shape when I became pregnant (even if I do say so myself.) I saw my personal trainer weekly and was going to Cross Fit two or three times a week. I was comfortable in my own skin for the first time in years and feeling fit, strong and healthy. I used my pregnancy to eat all the things I only allowed myself as treats and stopped going to Cross Fit. Needless to say I piled on a few more pounds than I’d really have liked to and now is the time to start thinking about doing something about it.
When Gravitate Nutrition got in touch and asked if I’d like to try their 30 day weight loss bundle* I thought it was certainly worth a try. The bundle comprises of 90 Supersculpt tablets and 30 Dietvits tablets (both of which are suitable for vegetarians and vegans!) Unsurprisingly, the Dietvits are a one a day multivitamin. Looking at the make up of them, they are actually quite a comprehensive multivitamin, whether you’re looking to lose weight or not. The Supersculpt tablets contain 500mg glucomannan which is a natural fibre the expands its volume in your stomach helping you feel fuller for longer.
I’ve already started trying to lose my baby weight by eating healthier and move a bit more. Although I’m not completely back on the exercise bandwagon, I am trying to walk more especially when I’m out with the pram. I’m going to be adding the Gravitate tablets to my daily routine from Monday and see if they help at all. I’ll let you know how I get on with them.
If you have any baby friendly exercise classes to recommend, please do let me know. All ideas are helpful, I really want to get moving again.
