5 Things You Need To Throw A Garden Party No Matter The Weather

*** This is a collaborative post ***

For those that have a garden and often neglect it during the winter months, then you might want to consider adding some features so that you can enjoy the garden all year round. You can enjoy your garden no matter the weather with the right features. If you wish to throw a garden party and don’t want the weather to disrupt your fun, here are the best additions you can add to your garden.

Add more lights

No matter the weather, the dark nights are always going to draw in. Instead of allowing the darkness to interrupt your party, add extra lights.

There is no excuse to not spend time in the garden during the cooler or darker months. Let’s say you want to throw a Christmas garden party, then adding the best solar Christmas lights will make your garden look festive and enable guests to spend time there in the evenings.

Retractable shelter

Although you might not require shelter during the warmer months, it can help block the strong rays. Furthermore, it can help the party continue if it rains. Thus, a shelter is a great feature to ensure the garden party will never be interrupted.

You can find retractable shelters, which you can pull out and over the garden when the weather changes. That way you can enjoy the sunshine and pull it out when necessary.

Add comfort to your porch

If the weather gets cooler, then you will likely need to offer guests extra layers. If not, they might leave early and the party will get ruined. Instead, adding extra comfort to specific areas will allow guests to gather and stay warm.

Some key comfort features include soft blankets and cushions. A great idea for the darker and cooler days is a fire pit. A fire pit will increase the warmth and glow in the garden, which will encourage guests to stay and socialize.

A porch is a great area to add extra comfort. It is often more shielded than the middle of the garden. Thus, guests can stay warmer and under shelter.

Outside catering facilities

You will likely want to feed and dine your guests when you throw a party. To spend more time with them, it helps to add an outside catering area. A barbeque is a great idea so that guests can bring their food and you can cook together in your garden.

Additionally, adding an outside drinks cooler will ensure that guests stay hydrated all day long, which is ideal if it’s hot outside.

Gazebo

To throw the perfect garden party, every guest will enjoy a gazebo. Gazebos shelter guests from rain and strong sun. Although a shelter is a great idea, you may require a larger space, which a gazebo can cater for.

Gazebos are great are keeping the heat in or out. You can add sides for the cooler days and take them off for when you and your guests need a breeze. They are also easy to take down and store away so that they don’t have to take up your entire garden all year round.
