In my post about Four Year Strong last week I mentioned that I thought it might be fun to share some of my favourite, alternative Christmas songs with you. Literally, the second I wrote that sentence I knew that this would be the first song that I wanted to share.
I was a big fan of Reuben anyway but this song is just incredible. It says everything in the title alone – Christmas is awesome.
I love this song so much that I genuinely can’t even put into words how great I think it is but every year for the past nine years it’s been one of the first songs I like to turn up as soon as the festive season approaches.
I’m getting giddy just thinking about it and I haven’t even pressed play yet. This post would be a lot more interesting and coherent if I could explain to you the huge, ridiculous grin slapped across my face and the excited, bum wiggle dance I’m doing in my seat. But, as I can’t quite capture that in proper sentences I’m just going to let the song speak for itself now.
I may have just listened to this on repeat about five times before coming back to finish this post! Hopefully, this has either reminded you of a Christmas classic or introduced you to a new one. Either way I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
