I figured that Friday was a good day to round up all the things that have got me excited and made me smile this week. It’s been a super jam packed one, I’m sure you’ll be pleased to hear so there’s plenty for me to share with you.
# I’ve been working from home for the past two weeks so I didn’t have to try and commute to North London through the Olympics traffic, travellers and tourists. As a result, I’ve been watching a lot of TV and the Olympics coverage has been ace. I’ve never watched so much of it before and I’ve been totally engrossed.
# When I haven’t been glued to the Olympics I’ve been indulging my love of rubbish daytime TV: Teen Mom, Come Dine With Me, Dinner Date and Four In A Bed! Brilliant.
# I’d not heard of Of Monsters And Men before this week but this video keeps popping up on MTV between my Teen Mom marathons and I’ve fallen in love with it! It reminds me of the Judderman Metz advert I used to be a bit scared of when I was younger.

# Urban Outfitters have got some of the best foodie pockets I’ve ever seen! Hotdogs, burgers and crisps packets are just a few of the designs but I think this sandwich one is my favourite! From pencil cases to purses I only want to keep my stuff in food bags from now on!
# Speaking of Urban Outfitters they currently have the best cushion selectionI’ve seen in a long time. My favourite is changing on an almost hourly basis but right now this is my favourite! Look at the cute little puppies!!!
# I’m really excited to get down to the Southbank and have a look around aMAZEme. It’s a maze made of thousands of books with walls of up to 2.5 metres high. You can find it at The Southbank Centre, Clore Ballroom until 26th August.
# Finally, I’ve had this song stuck in my head for the past 3 or 4 days -“‘Cause I’m quirky!”
