I Have A Girl Crush Or Four

I’m pretty fickle when it comes to a girl crush. I fall in and out of love so easily, sometimes within the space of one conversation, programme or song. So, when it comes to actually declaring a girl crush on these ladies they’ve been the object of my affections for one reason or another for some considerable amount of time.

Jenna knows what I’m taking about, see? Anyway, I thought I’d share with you the small group of ladies I wish I was or was friends with at least on a fairly regular basis.

Girl Crush #1 – Gwen Stefani

Gwen is the my original and favourite girl crush. There is nothing about her I don’t like. From No Doubt to her solo music to L.A.M.B. everything she turns her hand to is pretty mega. Also, how cute are her kids? She’s effortlessly cool and effortlessly stylish. How is possible that she’s never had a bad hair day and even when she’s just popping to the shops or playing with the kids she still looks incredible? I also associate my love of black eye liner and red lipstick to her.

Girl Crush #2 – Zooey Deschanel

Everything about her is awesome. She has, and is brilliant at, every job that I’ve ever wanted in my life: actress, singer, musician, writer, the list goes on. She’s friends with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and was married to Ben Gibbard. Also, she never appears to suffer from my eternal battle with the splitty fringe.

Girl Crush #3 – Rachel Bilson

Back in the days of The OC Summer was always my favourite and now I’m a big fan of Hart Of Dixie, which I only started watching because she is in it. Rachel Bilson is still up there with my favourite ladies. I mean look at that hair, so shiny and glossy and perfect. She’s dreamy.

Girl Crush #4 – Kate Moss

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a girl crush on Kate Moss. Everything about her draws me in. Her lifestyle, the way she looks, the things she does, everything about her. When she designed a line for Topshop I was a huge advocate and still wear one of her tea dresses on a regular basis now and her original perfume was my absolute favourite for a long time. In fact, I’m sad I can’t get it any more I loved it so much.
