The Grand Expedition left me feeling confused. I’ve never wanted to tell people everything about my night out and yet nothing about it at all before. I really enjoyed my night and would highly recommend going to anyone. But at the same time, I don’t want to spoil it. I want you to go and be as entranced and amazed as I was.

As I’m sure you can tell by the name, we were whisked away on a grand expedition and saw some spectacular sights. But it wasn’t just a feast for the eyes. Our bellies were filled with a delicious five-course meal too. I have to admit, the main course was my favourite and I could have eaten a whole lot more of that especially the cheesy bread things that looked like roast potatoes. They were delicious.

I have to admit, I was pretty sad to be alcohol-free because there was a selection of drinks flights to be taken alongside the feast. My interest was particularly piqued by the cocktail flight. A selection of cocktails paired with each course. I do love a good cocktail so this is something I’d definitely be interested in trying another time.

The number of times I was asked by other diners if I’d been to any other Gingerline events immediately proved to me that once you go Ginger, you never go back. Gingerline events are so impressive that you become a follower, once you’ve experienced it once you want to see where they will take it next.

Having been to only one other Gingerline event before, The Faculty of Eatucation last summer, I was blown away by how different this was. And from what I heard from other diners they felt the same.

How Gingerline keep coming up with delicious menus and breathtaking performances I’ll never know, but I hope they never stop.
