Shopping nightmare

I have three events coming up that require me to dress up – Cece’s christening, Bram’s christening and the wedding of two of my friends. All three of these things are pretty exciting and I’m really looking forward to them but I’m having an absolute ‘mare trying to find something to wear!

Being a bit on the skint side (thanks maternity pay) and not being entirely happy with my extra wobbly bits (thanks baby) I feel a bit stuck in a rut. Normally when events like this get popped into my diary I have an idea of what type of thing I want to wear. That way at least my search is narrowed down. This time though, I have no ideas at all and it’s stressing me out.

I’m spending hours on the ASOS app but keep falling down a hole of cute denim jackets (that it’ll probably be too cold to wear soon) and ringer t-shirts (my current obsession). Which would be fine but neither of these things are appropriate to wear for a wedding! 😭

I’ve always been a big fan of online shopping, in fact I’d probably say it’s my number one hobby, but actually stepping foot inside a shop when I know I need to find something makes my skin feel itchy. Shopping in person is only fun when you’re just meandering around having a mooch at things that might catch your eye. Those days when it doesn’t matter if you come home empty-handed.

So, basically, I think I need a personal shopper or a stylist. Someone who will just bring armfuls of clothes to my house for me to look at. Oh, they have to magically be able to fit me too because I hate trying clothes on. I fear this may be asking too much so a couple of ideas, links or any help would be greatly appreciated. Please!

Kisses,

lojo
