Taking Stock – March

I inadvertently took a break from blogging for a week or so last week, that was an accident but I feel kind of good about it and ready to crack on again. Sometimes I put a bit of unnecessary pressure on myself to stick to my Monday, Wednesday, Friday posting plan. Anyway, another month is almost over so here’s my monthly round-up.

Taking stock

Making: cakes. I’ve been getting back into the swing of baking this month.

Cooking: turkey dinosaurs and flipper dippers. OK so not the most healthy of dinners but it’s fun to feel young again.

Drinking: coffee, coffee, coffee. Mmmmm.

Reading: I’ve been trying to get through The Big Lie: Motherhood, Feminism, and the Reality of the Biological Clock but it’s been tough. I’m also working my way through The Big Leap: Conquer Your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level
and I’m about to start Paper Aeroplanes.

Wanting: it to be spring already. It’s so cold, I’m ready for some warmer weather now please.

Looking: forward to a little trip home in April.

Playing: Lego Batman 3. Tom bought an Xbox One and this is the only game that he bought that I wanted to play too.

Deciding: where we should live. We want to move back to the part of London we used to live in but can’t afford to buy there. So should we stay where we are?

Wishing: that I could win the Euro Millions.

Enjoying: lovely Lush baths. It’s been a while since I’ve had any of their scrummy bath bombs so I’ve really been enjoying them.

Waiting: to stop aching from working hard yesterday.

Liking: the fact that I’m actually enjoying exercise for once in my life.

Wondering: why I agreed to sign up for a 10K run with Steph.

Loving: My new Kate Spade iPad cover. It’s so pretty. (Thanks Tom.)

Pondering: what colour I should go next with my hair. It’s been ginger for sometime now.

Considering: if it is an actual viable option to move to New York.

Watching: I’m not Bear Grylls biggest fan but we’ve been glued to Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, I love Tom Rosenthal. I’ve also been watching a lot of Impractical Jokers too. *sigh*Sal Vulcano.*sigh*

Hoping: that things will start changing.

Marvelling: at the self-confidence other people show. I’m feeling a bit nervous about myself and things at the minute.

Needing: to go shopping.

Smelling: gradual tanning moisturisers, trying to find one that doesn’t smell like biscuits.

Wearing: all of the black. Always.

Following: Tom around trying to make sure he’s careful with his bandaged big toe.

Noticing: that my nails are in bad shape and keep breaking.

Knowing: that I need a trip to Ikea soon..

Thinking: about how to re-decorate our flat.

Admiring: mostly Sal Vulcano.

Sorting: out my wardrobe.

Buying: all of the Lush bath bombs and new nail varnish.

Getting: increasingly obsessed with everything Kate Spade.

Bookmarking: confidence and business tips.

Disliking: everything in my wardrobe at the moment.

Opening: presents from Tom because he got a bonus in work recently.

Giggling: at Impractical Jokers. (Obsessed.)

Feeling: much better about things than I was last month.

Snacking: on popcorn, sweet and salty is my favourite.

Coveting: This flat in Shoreditch.

Wishing: that I could speed things up. Things are taking too long for my liking sometimes.

Hearing: podcasts mostly. I’ve been listening to What Say You, IRL with Nev Schulman and Some Nonsense with Ray Peacock.

So there we go, that was my March. How was yours?

Kisses,

lojo
